If you want one to hang, choose Printed on this page and we post a printed sheet to you for $30 more (US only); choose Printed & framed, $89 more, and it arrives ready for the wall. Posted pieces usually leave the same business day and take 3 to 7 business days by US mail.
Two names, a Don and a Donna, for $119.95. Choose two certificates, each with its own number, or one certificate naming you both. Printing two sheets is $45 and framing them is $89 more; one sheet prints for $30 and frames for $59 more.
It is one of the most gifted things we make. Put their name on the certificate, tick 'This is a gift', and add their email address and a note if you like. The certificate and your note go straight to them the moment you pay, and a copy comes to you, ready to be styled Don or Donna at the next family dinner.
An honorific: a courtesy form of address that sits before a first name. It came into Sicily with the Spanish, out of the Latin dominus, and for centuries it has been how the island marks respect, for the head of a family, a teacher, a priest, the person a village defers to. It is something a community grants rather than a state confers. Style yourself Don or Donna, and wear the name with a smile.
Then it costs you nothing. Your title, certificate and plot are refunded 100%, for any reason, for 30 days: write to hello@terradelgattopardo.com and it's done, no quibble. A printed or framed piece is refunded in full too if you tell us before we post it; once it's in the post it carries your name and can't be refunded, though if it arrives damaged or wrong we'll reprint it free or refund it.
