Is this a real title of nobility?
No. The Don and Donna titles are honorifics, the same form of address used historically in Sicily before a first name. They are commemorative and personal, not legal titles of nobility, and they carry no legal rights or official recognition. We are clear about this on every certificate.
What exactly am I buying?
A hand-numbered certificate bearing the Il Gattopardo crest, drawn in the old Sicilian style, with a Don or Donna title inscribed to your chosen name. It arrives with a map showing the location of your dedicated souvenir plot of Sicilian land. What is the souvenir plot?
A dedicated parcel of Sicilian land assigned to your certificate. It is a souvenir dedication, a keepsake connection to the island, not a legal land deed or transfer of property. Your certificate names the plot and gives its coordinates.

Can I give this as a gift?
Absolutely, it is primarily a gift. At checkout, enter the recipient's email address and the certificate will go directly to them. You can also add a personal message which we'll include with the certificate.
Can I get a physical printed certificate?
Yes. At checkout you can choose to have your certificate professionally printed (US only, +$30) or printed and framed (+$59). For international orders, the PDF is designed to print beautifully at home on standard A4 or letter paper.
How long does it take?
The PDF certificate is emailed within minutes of purchase, automatically. Printed and framed certificates take additional time for production and shipping, details shown at checkout.
Can I use the Don or Donna title officially, on documents, my passport, etc.?
No. The title is an honorific for personal and social use. It has no official legal standing and cannot be used on legal documents.
