Return & Refund Policy

We want you to love your Il Gattopardo title. Buy it with confidence: you have 30 days, and you do not have to explain yourself.

The short version

• Your title, your certificate, and your plot of Sicily: 100% refunded, always, for 30 days. That is everything we send you digitally, whatever size plot you chose. Change your mind for any reason at all and every penny of it comes back to you.
• A printed or framed piece we have not posted yet: 100% refunded too. Tell us before it leaves us and the whole order, printing and framing included, is refunded in full.
• Once a printed or framed piece has been posted, the printing and framing are not refundable. It carries your name, so it cannot be sold to anyone else. Everything else on the order is still refunded in full.
• If a printed piece turns up damaged, wrong, or not what we promised, that is on us. It is not a refund question at all: send a photo and we reprint and repost it free, or refund it in full, your choice.

Your title and your plot, refunded in full for 30 days

The title, the certificate, and the plot of Sicily it names are the heart of what you buy, they arrive digitally, and they are covered without conditions. Write to us within 30 days of your order at hello@terradelgattopardo.com and you get 100% of that amount back, including whatever you paid for a larger plot. No quibble, no restocking fee, no handling fee, no reason required. Nothing to post back, and you may keep the PDF.

If instead you simply want it put right, a misspelled name, a certificate that never arrived, anything not as described, say so and we will re-issue a corrected certificate free of charge. That is not counted against your 30 days.

Printed and framed pieces

These are made to order with your name on them, so there is one line, and it is the moment we post them.

• Before it ships: full refund. Email us and we cancel the piece and refund it completely, printing and framing and all. We will always tell you plainly whether your order has gone out yet, and we email you the moment it does.
• After it ships, and it arrived just as it should: the printing and framing are not refundable. It is personalised and cannot be resold, so once it is in the post that part of the order is final. Your title, certificate, and plot remain refundable in full for the rest of the 30 days.
• Damaged, incorrect, or not as described: fixed either way. Send us a photo within 30 days of delivery and we reprint and repost it free, or refund it in full, whichever you would rather have. Nothing needs to come back to us, and we do not argue about it.

Nothing here takes away any right the law where you live already gives you.

Replacements, and anything bought later

A correction is always free: a misspelled name or a certificate that never arrived is put right at no charge, as above. A replacement copy of a certificate you have simply lost is a separate service and costs $9.00. It buys the render and the send, so it is refunded in full if the replacement does not reach you.

A matching second title bought after your first order is a title like any other, so the 30 day promise above covers it in full, for 30 days from the day you buy it.

How to ask

1. Email hello@terradelgattopardo.com from the address you used at checkout.
2. Include your order number (IG-XXXXX), which is on your certificate and in your confirmation email.
3. Say whether you would like the refund or a corrected certificate. If a printed piece arrived in poor shape, attach a photo.

We answer every message, usually within one business day, and a real person reads it.

Gift orders

Gifts are covered by exactly the same 30 days, on the same terms. Either the buyer or the recipient can write to us, as long as we have the order number.

How refunds are paid

Approved refunds go back to your original payment method through Stripe, typically within 5 to 10 business days depending on your bank. We take nothing out of them: no restocking fee, no handling fee, no admin charge.
